Kulinoto ski slope

Kulinoto locality is to be found in the municipality of Razlog in the northern part of Pirin Mountains. In the 80s of the last century, a ski run of 900 m was constructed here.Today the facility is managed by the Municipality of Razlog and has been fully operational since 2011.There are two ski-drags – one is a ‘Pomagalski’ type and the other is for children.The ski run is suitable for inexperienced skiers and snowboarders.The municipality has a project prepared for expanding the ski-zone and constructing new ski-runs that would start at the nearby Mt. Dautev and will connect with the existing one. A total of 3 km of new ski-runs is envisaged, plus 3.5 km of ski-lifts.Other winter sports that can be practiced within the municipality are snow scooter driving and airboarding.The first show with inflatable sleds was held in 2012 by initiative of the Bulgarian Airboard Club whose members have stated that Kulinoto ski-run is especially suitable for this type of sport.
