Do you appreciate Archeological sites? Have you ever imagined that Razlog is one of them? In the city centre are located some ancient stones steles! Discovered in 1957, they are part of circle sanctuary dedicated to the Sun God, whose high priest is the Thracian king. Archeologists suggest that the stone steles were likely located in the interior of the building so to be well lighted through the rising sun.
As one of the few Thracian fortified places of the II millennium BC preserved to our days, the largest stele shows a radian sun, among two-headed dragon, depicted in the form of ladia, facing one the main Thracians Gods, Hermes.
