This municipality is a land of multicultural stories. Do you want a prove? In the village of Banya there’s a Turkish bath , built around the 17th century. It has the typical shape of a ottoman public bath on the balkans. It has two entrances, one for the way in and one for the way out. The water often used there was the “blagata voda” (sweet water), which had a temperature of 54° and it was mixed with the water of a river that directly flowed over the bath. Ok, stop your imagination, it’s not more used. Sad story. But it can be a super interesting place to be visited. There’s a story behind this bath, it involves two turkish brothers, a cannonball full of golden coins and a kind a redemption asked to Allah. But to know the whole story you definitely have to visit the place.
